Orders, Production & Shipping

How does the ordering process work?

When you place an order on our store, it is automatically sent to our print-on-demand partner, Printful. They will then handle the production, packaging, and shipping of your item directly to you.

What happens after I place my order?

Once your order is received, Printful gets to work on producing your item. This includes printing or embroidering your design onto the product. They ensure that everything meets their quality standards before packaging it and sending it your way.

How long does it take for my order to be made and shipped?

Production typically takes 2-7 business days, depending on the product and the complexity of the design. After production, shipping times depend on the delivery method and your location. You will receive tracking details as soon as your order is on its way!

What type of printing does Printful use?

Printful uses several different printing methods, including direct-to-garment (DTG), embroidery, sublimation, and screen printing, depending on the product and design. This ensures that each item looks great and lasts for a long time.

Can I customize the packaging or include a message with my order?

No, unfortunatly this is not an option at the moment.

Why is my order sent in multiple shipments?

In some cases, if your order contains multiple items that are produced in different facilities, it may be shipped in separate packages. This is to ensure that each item reaches you as quickly as possible.

Don’t worry—your tracking information will be updated for each shipment, so you’ll always know where your items are.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, Printful has fulfillment centers worldwide, and they can ship to most countries. Shipping times and costs will vary based on your location.

Will I get charged for customs?

Depending on product availability, your order type, and your location, it will be sent from the Printful fulfillment center that can get it to you quickly. If your order is shipped from a center located in a different region than your delivery address, you might incur handling or customs fees upon delivery. These fees can vary based on the order value, your country’s limits, and other factors.

You can find the manufacturing location for each product in the description on its product page.

Are there any shipping restrictions?

We ship products to most countries, but there are a few exceptions due to legal restrictions or shipping carrier limitations.

Currently, we don’t ship to:

  • Ukraine
    • Crimea Region, Donetsk People's Republic, and Luhansk People's Republic
  • Russia
  • Belarus
  • The Gaza Strip region in Palestine
  • Cuba
  • Iran
  • Syria
  • North Korea
  • Venezuela
Shipping to Ukraine

Because of the ongoing war in Ukraine, shipping is very limited. For now, we can only deliver to Ukraine orders that are fulfilled in our Latvian facility.

Shipping to Kosovo

The same restrictions apply to Kosovo; we only ship products from our Latvian facility, and the available products are limited.

Shipping to India
Due to current Indian trade regulations, the direct or indirect import or transit of goods originating in or exported from Pakistan is prohibited. As a result, some of our products that use blanks originating in or exported from Pakistan can't be shipped to customers in India. This restriction applies regardless of the shipping route used.

Shipping to the US

Some of our products are fulfilled and shipped from China. Due to current U.S. tariff regulations, additional (high) import duties may be applied upon delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our product prices or shipping fees.

Note: Shipping restrictions can change depending on world events.

Check the latest updates from our production partner Printful on their FAQ page.

Some of our shipping carriers also pause international deliveries to certain countries because of natural disasters or other disruptions. You can check the latest updates on the USPS Service Alerts page.

How can I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. The link will take you to our tracking page, where you’ll find all the shipment details in one place. This also includes links to the carrier tracking pages.

What the tracking statuses mean

Here are some of the more frequent tracking statuses you may see on the tracking page. The exact wording can vary slightly depending on the carrier.

  1. Shipping label created
    • Shipping information was shared with the carrier.
  2. Shipment dispatched to carrier
    • The shipment has left the Printful fulfillment facility and is on its way to the primary carrier.
  3. Parcel processed at the hub
    • The package has been sorted at the carrier's regional hub and is continuing through the delivery network.
  4. Item forwarded to processing location
    • The package has been passed to the next facility, often a local sorting center or the next carrier, for the following stage of delivery.
  5. Arrived at customs
    • The package has reached a customs facility and is waiting for or going through customs clearance. This applies to international shipments. Usually no action is needed, but the recipient may need to contact their local postal service if the package doesn't move for several days.
  6. Customs fees due
    • Customs has flagged the package for import duties or taxes that need to be paid before it can continue. The recipient needs to pay these fees, either through the tracking page, a notice left by the carrier, or by contacting the local customs office or postal service directly.
  7. Item received at delivery office
    • The package has arrived at the local delivery office or post office closest to the delivery address.
  8. Out for delivery
    • The package is with the local carrier and is scheduled to be delivered that day. Monitor tracking updates, as pickup notifications may not always be sent.
  9. Delivery attempt
    • The carrier tried to deliver the package but couldn't complete it. A new attempt is usually scheduled, or pickup instructions are provided. The recipient may need to arrange redelivery or pickup depending on the carrier's instructions.
  10. Delivered (in/at mailbox)
    • The package has been delivered and left in or at the recipient's mailbox.
  11. Available for pickup
    • The package is ready for collection at a local pickup point or post office. The recipient needs to pick up the package — monitor tracking updates, as pickup notifications may not always be sent.
  12. Return to sender
    • The package couldn't be delivered and is being sent back to the return address, for example, because of an incorrect address or an unclaimed package. In this case, please contact us immediately via [email protected].

Tracking international orders

When your order is shipped internationally, and even in some domestic cases, it might pass through more than one carrier. The shipping service that starts the journey may not be the one that delivers it to your door. This final delivery step is handled by what's called a final-mile carrier.

For example, your order could be shipped with DHL or Asendia, but your local postal service (like USPS in the US or Royal Mail in the UK) might be the one to complete the delivery.

If your tracking link hasn't updated in a while, it's a good idea to look up the final-mile carrier's tracking information. Sometimes the original tracking page will show the name of the final carrier and include an extra tracking number with a link to their website.

If it doesn't, you can still check tracking progress by entering your tracking number on third-party sites like:

Note: These sites aren’t connected to Printful or Total Mayhem Merch, but they can sometimes show more detailed updates from local carriers.

When tracking updates appear

Tracking updates usually start appearing within 24 hours after your order is shipped. These updates come directly from the shipping carrier, and they may take a little longer to show if your order is handed off between carriers, especially for international shipments.

If your order was fulfilled at our facility in Mexico, tracking updates may take a day or two longer to appear after the order is marked as shipped. This delay is normal and part of the shipping process.

Still not seeing updates?

Try entering the original tracking number on your country's national postal service website. To find it, search "your country + postal service" in a search engine (for example, "France postal service" to find La Poste).

If your order includes multiple items, check whether they were split into separate shipments; each shipment gets its own tracking number, so an item that looks stuck may actually be tracked separately. Shipment numbers on your order can be found in the shipment confirmation email send to the email you used during the order process.

Can I use a PO Box for my delivery address?

You can, but it’s not always the best option. Most national postal services, like USPS or Canada Post, can deliver to PO Boxes; however, many of our products, like mugs or larger items, are too big for PO Boxes. In those cases, we ship with commercial carriers like FedEx, which don’t deliver to PO boxes.

To avoid delivery issues or delays, we recommend using a physical address whenever possible.

What happens if there’s an issue with my order?

If there’s any issue with your order, such as a damaged item or mistake with the print, please contact us immediately via [email protected]. We’ll work with Printful to resolve the issue and ensure you’re satisfied with your purchase.
